The shop is a 40 x 28 foot barn with modified post-and-beam interior columns. Between the columns there is an open working space of about 39 x 14 feet, just barely big enough to fit Lion. Outboard of the columns, on both sides, there are work spaces at floor level and above on balconies. Between the house and barn, there is a connecting breezeway. The gallery shows construction of the barn (shop) in 1990.
